Race face on the turbo? That is sending it from a long way out! Great demonstration of patience and letting the race come to you. That can be difficult when you race for the holeshot for so many years! Keep musing especially when followed up with such brilliant execution.
I don't know competitive cycling much but 4 minutes seemed to be a pretty healthy lead for Paige & Paige is also one of the strongest cyclists as she had put up a pretty stout performance at Unbound 200. The way you competed w/o any expectations show that a lot of the times expectations can be a lot limiting and can erode the joy and what we can achieve on that day.
Great work Kate and the way you believed in yourself and competed is astounding to listen from you. :)
I love your mindset and your exceptional writing style, Kate. So happy that you get to take this elite talent and spread it across disciplines. May you sparkle a very long time!
You continue to inspire. Every day! Funny story: your bib number, 59, is my lucky number. I won my first bike race with that number; and several others 😍😍
Stellar result, recognizing the flow and capitalizing upon it, and thanks for writing it up for us all. Love the part about realizing you were coming out of that bumpy corner with more speed than your competitors. You put it all together!
Go Kate Go! Incredible! I'm a 63 year old endurance athlete, you continue to inspire me, such a thoughtful bad ass.
Legend!!
Congrats on the win!!!

"on any given day..." Today was yours to make happen. Cheers!
